Popular Writer Giving Reading

Immensely popular adult fiction writer Nick Hornby is trying his pen at Young Adult Literature with his latest release SLAM. Many of his more successful novels have been made into major motion pictures starring major Hollywood actors, like HIGH FIDELITY with John Cusack and Jack Black and ABOUT A BOY with Hugh Grant. He has numerous lesser know best-selling novels as well, all of which combine pop culture references and memorable characters.

As part of Inprint's Readings for Young People series, Cool Brains!, Hornby will be in Houston Sunday Oct. 28 reading from his new YA novel. The event will be hosted at the Hobby Center for the Performing Arts at 2 PM. This is a popular reading series with a popular writer, so seats will probably fill fast.
